Bernice A. Knopp, age 60, of Miles City passed away October 7, 2006 at her home.
Bernice was born to Howard and Alma Wetherelt in Miles City, Mt September 28, 1946. Bernice grew up in Biddle and Broadus, MT until she moved to Spokane, WA where she attended College at Kennman Business School. Bernice worked for Don Ward, Custer County Sheriffs Office, Zion Construction and Bureau of Land Management where she retired after 20 years as a Land Law Examiner on April 28, 2006.
Bernice loved working in her yard and garden as well as visiting her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents, many aunts and uncles as well as her nephew Cory Wetherelt.
Bernice is survived by her children Chad Knopp and his wife Rhonda, her daughter Bobbi Walker and her husband Rick, her grandsons Zane and Kage Walker.Brother Tom Wetherelt, his wife Renee and the very special man in her life, Jim Kessler.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Custer County Cemetery in Miles City. Condolences may be sent to the family by visitingwww.stevensonandsons.com.
