Betty Mae Peck, age 79, of Circle passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the McCone County Health Center.
Betty was born in Cisco, Illinois on February 5, 1937, the daughter of James Milton and Minnie F. (Eaton) Clifton. She grew up and attended her early education is Decatur, IL before moving to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1951 where she graduated from high school. Following her schooling, she married Norman Peck in 1960 and started a family in 1964. She worked in the school system until early 1970’s and she started working as a central service technician for Luther Mayo Health Care. She continued working for them until 2003 when she retired and moved to Circle, Montana to be near family where she remained until the time of her death.
Betty loved ceramics, playing cards, camping and spending time with her grandchildren which were her life. She was a past member of the Elk Auxiliary in Wisconsin and was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan.
Betty is survived by two daughters: Diane (Joseph) Black of Circle, MT and Lisa (Andrew) Bauer of Elk Mound, WI; a son David J. (Kim) Peck of Fall Creek, WI; a sister Mary Limberg of Milwaukee, WI; Nephew Rick Taylor of Milwaukee, seven grandchildren: Somer (Justin)Curtiss of circle, Rachel(Seth) Hellekson of Anaconda, Wyatt Black of Circle, Joshua Peck United States Army stationed at FT. Huachua, Arizona and Amanda Peck of Fall Creek, WI. Elizabeth Bauer and Tyler Bauer of Elk Mound, WI and four great grandchildren Cameron Fladland, Maia Curtiss, Ella Curtiss, Arianna Curtiss of Circle. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Norman and two sisters: Cheryl Six and Patricia Tipton.
Visitation will begin on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Circle. Funeral services will follow on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Circle is in charge of the arrangements
