Brett Miles Beckman passed away on November 22, 2014.
Brett was born to Eugene and Ruth Beckman April 28, 1960. Brett spent his childhood and young adult years growing up in Billings, MT, where he attended school and learned the concrete masonry/construction trade while working with his father and older brothers. His older adult life was spent in the Lame Deer area, where he had family and many new friends. Brett contracted work and worked with the Lame Deer Housing Authority building homes, and he took great satisfaction knowing these homes provide shelter for the elderly and those who needed assistance. He was a skilled craftsman who worked hard and took pride in the fact that people often would compliment him for his dedication and professionalism in his trade.
Brett: Brother, son, uncle, cousin, and friend, your warm caring and generous spirit as well as your quick sense of humor will be sorely missed by all who came to know you. One of the things Brett had a gift for was his ability to sit and listen to people who were down and out on their luck, or had a problem they wanted to share. He was always willing to help if he could. Brett has left us and is now at his eternal home with the Lord. We look forward to the day when we will all be re-united with him and our loved ones. Brett, you will always be in our hearts as we wait to join you in heaven.
Brett is survived by his mother Ruth; sister Leannda; brothers: Lonnie, Kevin, Gene, and Lee; and many loving nieces and nephews, aunties and uncles.
Brett was preceded in death by his father, Eugene V. Beckman.

My only memory of Brett is when I visited the Beckmans with my mom when I was pregnant with my oldest son. He hugged me and told me he knew I was having a boy (I didn’t know he was a bou) and that he was going to be a good man one day. My son is named after Kevin Beckman, and is a very good man indeed. Thank you Brett for the find memory and true prediction. Sleep sweet in God’s love. Heavenly Father, wrap your arms around Brett’s family and provide them with comfort and strength. Amen

I first remember Brett when he was about 4 yrs old. I was a good friend of Geno’s and saw Brett all the time. When Bret first started school at Broadwater, he would walk to school with me and Geno.
