Calvin L. Rogers, age 86, of Miles City, MT passed away on June 2, 2018 at Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City.
Calvin Lee Rogers was born on January 31, 1932 in Shepherd, MT the son of Hershel Rogers and Rose (Lamb) Rogers. Calvin attended school in Shepherd, MT and after he graduated high school Calvin enlisted in the United States Navy in 1951. Calvin served his country for 4 years until he was honorably discharged in 1955. Calvin soon enlisted in the Army National Guard in Logan Utah where he worked for several years. Calvin always said he considered himself a jack of all trades but a master of none. He worked as masonry, a ranch hand, among various other jobs before he found his true calling working as an automotive mechanic.
He enjoyed camping, fishing and in his younger days going dune buggy riding. Calving always had a smile on his face and was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. He will always be remembered as a beloved son, brother, father and grandfather.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eastern Montana State Veteran’s Cemetery in Miles City, MT.
