Daniel Old Bull, Mokesa’e Ohtameohlseste, “Calf Walking”, born February 29, 1941, died at St. Vincent Healthcare on March 15, 2018 at 1:15 a.m. with sisters and nephew by his side. Daniel was 77 years old. Daniel was born in Ashland, MT on leap year to Julia Littlebird Gray and Tom Old Bull. He was preceded in death by son Daniel Old Bull, Jr., his parents Julia and Tom, his brothers Leroy Gray, Larry Gray, adopted brother Don Bishop, sisters Christine Roe, Margaret Old Bull, Margie Russell, first wife Wretha Tallbull and wife Loretta Clubfoote.
Survivors include his brothers Nathaniel (Chris), Dudley Fisher, his sisters Vina (Chuck) Dircks, LaDonna (Stanley) Eagle, Sr., and Rosie Gray (Gerald Rowland), and Theresa Old Bull Crazymule. His extended family includes sisters Limana, Johanna, Rita, Erliss, and his brothers John Redneck, Gilbert Dale, Myron Littlebird, and adopted daughter Michelle Clubfoote, adopted son, Crawford Lonewolf He also helped raise Renae Redcherries, Carlena Talawyma.
Daniel attended school in Busby, St. Labre, and the Dull Knife Indian Action Team where he received a certificate in plumbing. He worked for the Northern Cheyenne Housing Authority and was a former firefighter.
He enjoyed hunting, being around family, and watching basketball and cruising around with his brother, Dudley Fisher.
The family thanks St. Vincent Healthcare’s hospice team and Eagle Cliff Manor. He has a large extended family with too many to mention but he loved you all.
