Dolly Clark

Funeral Service: Saturday, December 6, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at the VFW Hall in Jordan

Interment: will follow in the Steve Forks Cemetery

Dolly Darlene Clark, age 74, of Miles City formerly of Jordan passed away on Monday, December 1, 2003 at the Friendship Villa Care Center in Miles City.

Dolly was born on September 15, 1929 in Forsyth, Montana, the daughter of Wilbert and Goldie (Hellyer) Jackson. She grew up in the Custer and Big Horn area where she attended grade school and then she moved to Billings where she attended high school. Following her schooling, she moved to the Brusset area. Dolly married Alvin Clark in 1947, to this union five children were born. They made their home in the Blackfoot area. They later moved to Billings. Dolly later married John Jacobson. They lived in Billings in the winter and in the summer they would travel and work construction in Eastern Montana. She made her home between Miles City and Jordan until making her home in Jordan. Due to ill health, in her later years, Dolly moved back to Miles City.

Dolly enjoyed dancing, socializing, and spending time with her family.

Dolly is survived by two daughters: Donna (Homer) Williams of Miles City, MT; and Karen (Dave) Witt of Sand Springs, MT, two sons: Dale (Karla) Clark of Hardin, MT; and Alan (Lori) Clark of Ashland, MT, one sister, Lola Hanley of Jordan, MT; three brothers: Doug Jackson of Grassrange, MT, Jack Jackson of Carlton, OR; and Jerrold Jackson of Laurel, MT. She was preceded in death by her parents, two children, a daughter, a son, three sisters, and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at the VFW Hall in Jordan. Interment will follow in the Steve Forks Cemetery. A luncheon will be served at the VFW Hall immediately following the funeral service. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.stevensonandsons.com.
