It was so fun listening to the 3 Ladies at Sunday Brunch, Doris Jean, Doris Jean Friez, and my mother Lois Kuhn. They were the best of friends and now I am sure they are all together again. My heart sank to hear of the loss, but it heals to know they are all together again having fun as they did. Condolences to the family.

A neat lady…we had some good visits about antiques. I remember her collecting miniature swans. Still think of her when I see one. Love and prayers to each of you.
Kathy O'Connell says
Doris Jean and my dad, Wesley “Bud” O’Connell were high school sweethearts at Rosebud High School. I had the good fortune to meet Doris Jean in 1999 when my dad and I took a road trip to Wyoming, where he was born, and to Montana. Dad had talked about Doris Jean when I was growing up and I was delighted to meet her in her home. My dad was able to drive within one street of her house. That’s how well he remembered her. Doris Jean invited us into her home. She showed me around, delighting in my appreciation of her antiques. Before we left she gave me a lovely necklace and a large stone containing agate, which I still have and treasure. I know my dad was happy to have seen her. He passed away in October 2006 at the age of 84.
