Dusty Ray Francis, Matano “Bowstring”, Age 32, Passed away in the early morning of Oct. 6th 2016,
Born June 22, 1984 to Lois Killsnight and James Francis.
He attended School in Lame Deer Public, Rattlesnake Public School and Hellgate High School in Missoula MT. Dusty held various jobs, as Dusty enjoyed being in the outdoors he worked for the N.C. Forestry Dept. in the summer months as a Firefighter and later tree planting.
On March 29th 2012, Dusty welcomed his first child Tristen Jane into this world and then again on April 9th 2014 he was blessed with another child Tyler Nathaniel, Dusty loved his children and they meant the world to him.
Dusty was a genuine guy who was always there for his friends and family whether it be kind words or someone to laugh and visit with, he was always there, he enjoyed spending time with his children, nieces, nephews and cousins, and numerous friends in the Missoula MT area.
He enjoyed many different things from playing chess, snowboarding, swimming at Flathead Lake, being outdoors/hiking (especially enjoyed hiking Mount Jumbo in Missoula MT), Dusty was a very good artists, in which many of his family and friends will always cherish.
Dusty spent his time beading and creating beautiful crosses and keychains. He was always on the look out to find something “cool” for his mother.
Dusty had a special relationship with his Grandmother Rosella, helping her with anything she needed done, helping her in the garden, landscaping for her, checking on her every day.
Dusty is proceeded in death by his Grandfathers Louis Killsnight Sr., Martin Killsnight, Avon Killsnight, Eli Killsnight, Grandmothers, Evelyn Killsnight-Morgan, Maxine Spang, and Stephana Flores. Cousin Stephan Killsnight
Dusty is survived by his parents, his children Tristen Jane & Tyler Nathaniel, the mother of his children Tyree Freemont, his sisters Tawny L. Killsnight, Deanna Francis and brother Devon Francis. Nephews Dakota Show, Josiah Killsnight, and Niece Isabella Killsnight.
