I wish to express my sincere condolences to the family and friends of George Standing Elk. May you find comfort in your loving memories of George and in the Great Spirit’s promise to see our loved ones again through the resurrection. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28&29) What joy there will be to welcome back George to a beautiful, peaceful earth (Psalms 37:10,11,29) where all pain, sickness and death will be no more! (Rev 21:4) Hold on to all your happy memories of George and let these, along with all the promises of the Great Spirit, who cannot lie, bring you comfort and peace! My deepest sympathy!

I had the pleasure of seeing George whenever I would visit Neil at the community living center. Though George could not speak, his eyes would light up whenever Neil and I would speak our very limited Cheyenne. He always had a smile on his face! I’m sure he will be missed. Please know that he was treated very well by the staff working there.
