Jeannette Lee Bearcomesout, 47, was born May 19, 1965 to Joe and Agnes Bear in Crow Agency, MT. Maheo called Jeanette home on September 17, 2012.
Jeannette graduated from St. Labre Indian School in Ashland in the year of 1983. She also attended school in Idaho and Washington. She later graduated from Dull Knife College.
Jeannette’s life partners were Bruce Spang, Frank Whiteman, and Louie Quiroz. From their unions came Kyle (Marlene), Monica (PJ), Taylor and Quincy. She had a special Granddaughter Gabriella Lee.
She is survived by her mother Agnes Longjaw Bearcomesout, her brother Joe Jr. (Charlie, Cindy, Jolene, Jolson, Jenise, Jason and Christine), her sisters Henrietta (Manny, Lynette, BJ, Fred, Myron), Joetta (Luther Yellow Robe Sr., Tony, Destiny, Jordan, Lindsey, Jace), Emery’s children (Veronica, Emerlynne, Emery Jr., Brenda, Robert), Tina (Roy Leamons, Cordell, Kaydell, Lanette, Sierra)Tony’s children (Utahnna, Jared, Sharly and Spring),Veronica (Miles, Andrew, Jerry III),Lana’s children (Taran, Derek, Britney, Devin, Victoria(Victorees), Grandson Christian Anthony), Mary, (Stefanie, Dylan ) Angeline, (Andrew Elk shoulder Jr., Alec, Kaya). Her adopted children Aaron Richards, Matt Longjaw, Roberta Hart and Jamie Hart. Special friends Maybelline Big back and Inez Foote and adopted brother Jay Johnson (Carla).
Jeannette was preceded in death by her father Joe Sr., her brothers Anthony and Emery, her sister Lane, her nephews Dustin, Jeremy, Garrett, Christian Lee and niece Alisa, and adopted son George Kellum.
Jeannette has a very large extended family including Walksalong, Bearquiver, Longjaw, and the Northern Cheyenne Tribe. We apologize if we missed anyone.
Jeannette, my daughter, sister, mother and grandmother, our hearts cry for you. We are not ready to walk this world without you. Your example and love remains with us, always. Our prayers and love go with you, always.
