I /We will miss my dear sister so very much.
She was always a spark of life in the words she spoke and her expressions finished the thought or opinion. As a pre schooler at the ranch she was always up and ready to stick a boot in the stirrup and put a little steel in the side of her horse “Little Black Sambo” . She could ride and handle any horse in Dads strings and known by all as a “Top Hand”. Sharon and I’s heart is big for you Tim, Jeff and John.
Gordon Boyd says

I shared this comment on my social media this morning regarding Judy.
“My mother’s cousin Judy Boyd Lervick passed away on Friday after a time of illness. Not coming from a large family, each of these events is substantial in that a bright light has been extinguished and a deep loss replaces joy. As a child Judy was my picture of a carefree spirit. She appeared to be embracing life and not really caring what others thought or felt about her. Later in life when we saw each other she always had a smile and a warm hug. She was welcoming and kind. Judy’s love and acceptance was always present and something I remember fondly. With her passing our family is less rich and her life is one I will miss. Chances are I always took for granted I would see her again in this life and now she is gone. Rest In Peace sweet Judy. “

So sad and sorry to lose one of my Aunts and best freinds. Tim, Jeff, John, Joe, Marc, JoAnn and All! Our hearts pour out for you. Jane and I are praying for everyone So very hard in this time of loss. Everyone that met Judy, loved Judy, she made people happy and laugh! Successul saleswoman, horse rider, wife, mother, good listener, advisor, paleo world operator, Aunt and freind. An admirable and courageous human and strong and proud woman. Shoot, she even bopped a bear on the head with a frying pan onetime as it had stuck its head in the cabin window. I mean, who does that with little or no fear? Wonder Woman? Shoot, we all had AuntvJudy, or sister Judy, or mom Judy, or freind Judy. She was Fun to be around, and nothing she ever did could surprise me, because she could and would do anything! Brave Happy Soul! I cried hard when I found out you were gone Judy! You touched me and everyone that ever crossed your path. Love you! See you in heaven!

Barb(ara) O'Bryon) Boyd says
I know Judy only as cousin who I got into mischief with. She introduced me to horses and I learned to ride from her. When my brother Tom and cousin Joe Boyd where young teens we found out they go swimming and we ran up to the pond and stole their clothes. I wish I could say my behavior has improved but once when Judy and I talked a few years back we laughed about our playtimes
I so wish I had stayed connected with Judy because I experienced her as being a terrific person. I can only imagine how terrific her kids and grandkids and great-grandkids. Save a place for me up there gal.

Parable of Immortality
I am standing upon the seashore.
A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze
and starts for the blue ocean.
She is an object of beauty and strength,
and I stand and watch until at last she hangs
like a speck of white cloud
just where the sea and sky come down to mingle with each other.
Then someone at my side says,
” There she goes! ”
Gone where?
Gone from my sight . . . that is all.
She is just as large in mast and hull and spar
as she was when she left my side
and just as able to bear her load of living freight
to the place of destination.
Her diminished size is in me, not in her.
And just at the moment
when someone at my side says,
” There she goes! ”
there are other eyes watching her coming . . .
and other voices ready to take up the glad shout . . .
” Here she comes! ”

This feller must be referring to my cousin Judy. Much better with words than I. I was so blessed to have known Judy, no matter how brief. Like my sister Barbara we were blessed to have lived beside Judy from time to time during our journey. Our love and prayer to all of you.
Joseph Hatcher says
Many, many great memories. The woman’s monument, branding, trips to Billings, and attitude adjustments. I’m sorry how things ended, but always remember you with a smile. 🙂 Tim, please accept my deepest sympathies.

Just noticed Judy’s obituary in today’s paper and I am so sorry for the family’s loss. My first real job was on her father’s ranch at Wyola in the summer of 1957 and 1958, where I got to know Judy. We became friends in our teenage years, and I was happy to remain in touch with her. Due to her skills as a successful realtor, my sister and I were grateful for her help when we had to sell the family ranch at Lodge Grass. I was just thinking about how fortunate I was to have seen Judy at Ina Mae’s funeral earlier this year. My sincere condolences to the family.
