On Friday, November 16, 2012 Sarita Dickman, wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt passed away peacefully after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer at the age of 39. Sarita will forever be remembered by her husband Dustin and their three children, Chance, Caid, and Chloe, by her father, Stan Swiontek, her sister Jody (Kevin) Sept, her mother-in-law Linda Dickman, and her sisters-in-law, Lonni (Dan) Fougner, Rhea Dickman (Daniel Richardson), and Shay Dickman. Sarita will also be fondly remembered by her niece, numerous nephews, and extended family and dear friends.
Sarita was born November 21, 1972 to Stan and Monica Swiontek. She went to high school at New Plymouth High School in Idaho and went on to graduate from cosmetology school, later owning and operating All About You Salon in Miles City. She married her best friend and soul mate Dustin Dickman on November 6, 1998.
Sarita was a very special person, loved by everyone for her warm heart, vibrant smile, and zest for life. She adored her husband and children, and was not only a wonderful mother to her own children, she was also a surrogate mother to many. She was a loving and caring person, always putting others’ needs before her own. She touched peoples’ lives without even trying, and was always the first to reach out to anyone in need of help. Just as with all challenges she faced in life, Sarita approached her cancer diagnosis head on, and fought a courageous battle right up until the very end. Her tenacious spirit and her legacy of kindness and compassion will live on.
Sarita is preceded in death by her mother, Monica Swiontek, her grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 19, at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City with family receiving friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. A celebration of Sarita’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 20, at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Bible Church, 3505 Stower Avenue, Miles City. Burial will follow at Custer County Cemetery. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com.
Those who so desire may make Memorial Donations in memory of Sarita to the Sarita Dickman family for a college fund to be setup for her children.

Murry says
I am so sorry to hear of lost especially at such an young age. When we experience death it can cause us to wonder does God care? Even though we may not know each other I have also experience the pain that death can bring. Something that has truly brought me comfort is a scripture from the bible at Revelation 21:4..”and he will wipe out every tear from their ears, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” We all look forward to a time when those words will come true. But I hope this has brought you comfort like it has for me.
with sincere sympathy,
Murry
