Thaddy and Blackie the cat, were the high point of my weekly trips to Hyshsm. And seeing how the community cared for him, asking how he was doing, even tho he rarely left his home, that humbled me. It is truly said, no man is an island. And he did touch us all. I will miss him. Lynn Tompkins, P.A.L.S.

It is with great sadness that I have to come to this page again to say goodbye to a person that was the kindest,,most considerate, animal loving person ever. Thaddeus B. Rowland was more than a friend to me. He was truly a ,member of my family. He was invited to every holiday, birthday ,etc, but would never show up. Well he got a plate of food taken to his back door every single time our family got together.I’d call and tell him I was coming with his food and the door was always unlocked. Blackie (CAT) always met me in the kitchen, she knew there was some thing for her as well. I will miss out nightly phone calls Thad, miss that special laugh of yours and your beautiful light blue eyes that made my day everytme I looked into them.REST IN PEACE my dear friend. I love and miss you always!! Janiece

Thaddy was a great person. My parents just loved him and took him in. He was there when Dad cut the meat for The Hysham Hills Supper Club always lending a helping hand. Heaven has gained another angel.
