Valorie Lynn Robinson, age 60 of Ashland passed away on January 4, 2014 at Billings Clinic due to complications from Advanced COPD surrounded by her family.
Valorie was born on March 15, 1953 to Wanda Mower and Harry Gorman in Cannon City Colorado. She spent her younger years in Colorado before moving to Phillipsburg MT in the 60’s. While living in Phillipsburg she met her first husband Ted Knapp with whom she had two children Michael and Michelle. After the end of her first marriage she married Jeff Robinson on October 6, 1990 and together they had a daughter Robin. They made their home in Dillon before moving to Ashland in September of 1993. She spent the remainder of her life in Ashland.
Valorie had many occupations over the years thru which she acquired many friends. Her early years were spent waitressing then later on at the Sawmill in Ashland as well as Greens Grocery and finally at the Ashland Merc. When working became too difficult she retired in October 2008 to pursue easier pastimes at home. Her favorite Pastimes included reading, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends. She also loved to snowmobile in her younger years.
Valorie was preceded in death by her parents Wanda & Harry, her step-father Hilden Mower, her second parents Jack & Nancy Knapp, father-in-law Richard Robinson and son-in-law Clarence (CR) Stewart.
She leaves behind her husband of 23 years Jeff Robinson, her children Michael (Cedar) Knapp, Michelle Stewart, and Robin Robinson all of Ashland, her sister Garnet Mann of Dillon, MT, her grandchildren Shannon, Michaley, Jackson & Caitlyn Knapp all of Ashland, nephew Bob Connors of Phillipsburg, MT, her niece Alicia (Matt) Morgan of PA,and her mother-in-law Alice Robinson of Laurel, MT.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday January 10, 2014 in the Ashland Public School Gymnasium at 2:00 PM. Refreshments will be offered following the celebration.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Valorie’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home of Forsyth is assisting the family with these arrangements and condolences may be sent by visiting our website www.stevensonandsons.com
