I’ve known Wally, and were friends, since we were in Mrs Hookers 5th grade class at the Washington School. Shortly thereafter he moved to Terry to finish school. Our friendship
resummed after we finished hs (1947) and he returned to MC. He was a wonderful

Corliss, Chris and Wayne,
We loved your sweet Daddy. I have many memories of times with Uncle Wally: combing his wavy blond hair when we were little, picnics at the pumping plant, making the little bunny out of his hanky and having it jump off his arm, visits to the farm and driving his old Hudson, taking our own kids to the farm during Harvest and one of them losing their shoe in the grain truck, eating tomato soup at the Four Bs with him and Dawn and my Mother… He was always so sweet to us kids, teasing us and saying funny things. We loved being around him. Love to you and may God comfort and bless you always. –Carol and Marcus
