Abel James Soldier Wolf, Kȯsáéso (Little Lamb), our little Cheyenne Warrior went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 9, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital in Billings Montana. His sparkling eyes and bright smile will be surely missed by all who knew him.
Abel was born in Aurora, Colorado on August 27, 2013. He was transferred to the Colorado Children’s Hospital, then to St. Vincent Hospital on September 16, 2013.
Abel is survived by his mother Stephanie Little Whiteman of Lame Deer, father Earl “Dutch” Simpson of Lame Deer, Paternal Grandparents Linda Simpson (the late Richard Simpson), brothers, Bailey, Kirby, Tucker, Hooray, Ransom, Great grandparents Beatrice (the late Thomas Small Jr.), Maternal grandparents, David (Darlene) Little Whiteman Jr. of Lame Deer, Marvena Soldier Wolf of Lame Deer, Manford & Darlene Soldier Wolf of Muddy Cluster, Stacey (Eloise) Stewart of Ashland, many uncles & aunts who spent every day holding and loving him. Lorna Soldier Wolf, Jim Little Whiteman, adopted grandmother Lydia of the fourth floor at St. Vincent’s. Kayla Gonzales (Keith Shoulder Blade, Kaycee Martinez (Rex) all of Lame Deer.
Abel was given two Indian names, “Takes away four lands from enemy” and from his uncle J.D. Little Whiteman “Kȯsáéso (Little Lamb)
Our family is large so if we left out anyone we are sorry.
Traditional Wake will be Sunday October 13, 2013 at 7:00 pm at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Parish in Lame Deer, and Funeral Services will be at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Parish on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 11:00 am.
