Adalberto Espinoza, age 16, of Willmar, Minnesota passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2003 in a four-wheeler accident near Miles City, Montana

Adalberto was born on October 1, 1986, in Laredo, Texas the son of Maria Espinoza. He moved to Willmar when he was eight months old. He attended Willmar Schools and also Renville County West for his sophomore year. He was very active in wrestling and once took the State Championship. He was also active in track, music, and drama. He was an active member of the Triumphant Life Church in Willmar. Berto loved to write music and break-dance. In 2002, he was on stage at the Sonshine Festival. He was in Montana at the time of his death performing his music and dance for a church youth rally.

Adalberto is survived by his mother, Maria Espinoza of Willmar, MN; two brothers: Fabian Saenz and Deric Saenz both of Willmar; three sisters: Ruby Saenz, Nancy Saenz, and Ericka Saenz all of Willmar; and his grandmother, Maria H. Espinoza of Willmar. He is also survived by two uncles, Roman (and Noelia) Espinoza and Julian Espinoza both of Willmar, MN; and four aunts: Charitina Espinoza, Ester (And Eduardo) Hernandez, Rosa Maria (and Dave) Breikreutz, and Norma Espinoza all of Willmar, along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 26th at 1:00 p.m. at the Triumphant Life Church in Willmar with the Rev. Gary Gnirk officiating. The interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Willmar. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Triumphant Life Church and one hour prior to the services. Arrangements are being handled by Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City, MT and Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar, MN.
