Adolph J. Fischer, age 79, of Fallon, MT passed away peacefully on May 30, 2022, with his daughter by his side.
Adolph was born on August 2, 1942, at his home in Prairie County to August and Anna Fischer. Adolph grew up and attended school in Fallon where he helped on the family farm. As a young man he worked for Marvin Hjorth for a few years on his farm, before beginning his new venture with the Prairie County Road Department where he remained until his retirement. Adolph married Erma Stevenson and to this union they had two children Jr. and Elysia. They later divorced and he then married Patricia Fischer.
Adolph was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved being able to go out with his children, grandchildren and nephews. He also enjoyed agate hunting, camping, traveling, watching old westerns and gameshows as well as playing cards with anyone willing to play especially “Farkle”. He had a special place in his heart for his beloved dog Sally whom he enjoyed spending time at home with and taking care of. Above all Adolph loved being around his family his children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters and nephews. Adolph would attend all his grandchildren’s events from rodeo to baseball.
He was preceded in death by his parents, August and Anna; his wife, Patricia; three brothers, Leo, Melvin and Garfield and one brother-in-law, Marvin Hjorth.
He is survived by his two children, his son, Jr. (Joni) Fischer of Terry, MT and their children Jorjana, Ciara, Jaxon and Kimber, his daughter, Elysia (Chad) Huber of Glendive, MT and their children, Nevada and Cole; one great-grand child, Sage; four step-children, Charlie (Julie) Stevenson, Shirley (Jeff) Linder, Lori Stevenson and Pam Stevenson; one brother, Calvin (Eldora) Fischer; two sisters, Deloris Hjorth and Arvilla Fischer and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Son’s Funeral Home in Terry, MT. A funeral service will held on June 4, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at the Hope American Lutheran Church in Fallon, MT. Interment will be at the Prairie County Cemetery in Terry, MT.
