Albert A. Ottoy, age 85, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at his home.
He was born in Custer, MT on August 28, 1926 to Alfons and Irma (Van Hemelryck) Ottoy. He attended schools in Miles City, MT. Following graduation he entered the U.S. Army serving during WWII.
Upon his honorable discharge Albert returned to Miles City where he helped take care of his mother and owned and operated Ottoy Construction until his retirement due to ill health in 2005. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. He was married to Shirley Ottoy on August 28, 1994, and she survives him along with a host of nieces and nephews and Shirley’s children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miles City. Rite of Committal will follow in the Eastern Montana State Veteran’s Cemetery with full military honors provided by VFW Post 1579. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City is in charge of the arrangements.
