I worked at Highgate Senior Living at a temporary job doing activities. Even though I was only there for about 4 months, I really got to know Faye. She loved to visit and tell stories or listen to stories. I had many conversations with her and a few other ladies there, and we had many laughs, did crossword puzzles or other activities she enjoyed. She was so much fun and I loved visiting with her and visited her a few times after I left that job. One time, we had a craft activity painting rocks. We put them out in the flower garden. When I left, I had painted a rock with a frog on it for her, because I knew how much she loved frogs. I was saddened to hear of her passing.

Faye became a very important person to our family. We met her at Highgate Senior Living where my Dad, Glen, is a resident. Faye was outgoing and kind and loved to play dominoes with us. She had a reserved spot with us at the table almost every day. My Dad very much enjoyed her company. Our thoughts and prayers and warm wishes to all of her family. She would often relate stories of the navy years and her experiences as a teacher. She is missed greatly.
