In Memory Of

Allen Wildish

Visitation: Sunday, October 19, 2008, from 1:00 to 6:00 PM at the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home

Funeral services: Monday, October 20, 2008, at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Miles City.

Burial: will follow at Eastern Montana Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.

Allen C Wildish, age 75, of Miles City passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at the Holy Rosary Health Care Center in Miles City.

Allen was born in Baker Montana on June 18, 1933, the son of Harry and Millie (Lampke) Wildish. He attended Webster country school, and graduated from Baker High School. Following his graduation he entered the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict. Upon his honorable discharge he moved to Miles City Montana where he worked for the Veterans Administration Medical Center where he worked in radiology and in later years as an EKG technician. In 1983, Allen was awarded the Veterans Administration Medical Center Hands and Heart Award. After over 30 years of service with the government- with the exception of four years in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict- at the local VA Facility he retired in the late 1980s, making his home in Miles City ever since.Family and friends meant a lot to Allen, including having his Mom move in with him for the past eight years of her life. Allen loved to work in his yard. Every chance he had he set out a new bird house, and also loved to travel. Allen will always be remembered as a good, gentle man, and always be remembered to them as Manny.

Allen is survived by his brother Gary Wildish of Baker, Montana, sister Betty Sieler, of Billings, Montana, his nieces; Gloria Chamberlain of Billings, MT, Marie Kemp of Plentywood, MT, Cathy Stokes of Billings, MT, Janice Custer of Billings, MT, Debbie Lohman of Miles City, MT and Crystal Porras of Arizona and nephews; Ken Sieler of Fargo, ND, Walt Sieler of West Jordan, UT, John Sieler of Dayton, OH, Doug Wildish of Miles City, MT and George James of Arizona. He also leaves behind his good friends, Tom and Neena Saunders, Lonnie South, Jack Westrope, Jim Wesby, and a host of many other friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Rolland and Darrell Wildish and his niece Beverly Stoler.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 19, 2008, from 1:00 to 6:00 PM at the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 20, 2008, at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Burial will follow at Eastern Montana Veterans Cemetery with full military honors. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.stevensonandsons.com.
