Almeada Fogle,age 88, of Jordan passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at her home in Jordan surrounded by her family.
Almeada was born in Jordan, Montana on May 31, 1926, the daughter of Thomas and Isabelle (Clark) Johnson. She attended Kester Country School and graduated from Garfield County High School. She married Earnest Fogle on October 16, 1946 in Miles City, Montana. To this union, nine children were born. Once her children were in school, she worked as a teacher’s aide and county librarian until she retired.
Almeada devoted her life to her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and to her church. Everyone else always came first in her life. Family gatherings were always a great highlight in her life.
Almeada is survived by her children: Earnest (Sandy) Fogle of Jordan, MT; Judy Amos of Post Falls, ID; Lyle (Kathy) Fogle of Gillette, WY; Robert Fogle of Glasgow, MT; Tom (Cheryl) Fogle of Jordan, MT; Steve (Laurie) Fogle of Corvallis, OR; Keith (Patti) Fogle of Glasgow, MT; David (Julie) Fogle of Lewistown, MT; a sister Ida Quinlivan of Tacoma, WA; a brother in-law Kenny (Alice) Fogle of Jordan, MT; Brother-in-law Gale (Margaret) Fogle of Gillette, WY; thirty four grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Earnest, two brothers Dick Gagnon and Hirth Gagnon, a daughter Elaine Nelson and numerous extended family members.
A Vigil service will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jordan. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jordan. Rite of Committal will follow in the Pioneer Cemetery. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Jordan is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the members of Almeadas family. I spent many years growing up being in and out of Earnest and Almeadas house. I always thought of them as my second family. I will always remember all the meals I ate with them at their table. Almeada and Ernest always welcomed me into their home, whitch says a lot seeing as how I was just a creek bum always hanging around. I know in my heart that Almeada is in Heaven now with Earnest. Almeada was a truly firm believer in the Lord, and always cared very much about other people. I will miss her , but know that she went to a good place. Part of her lives on in all her family, and all the peoples lives she touched.

Jesus words at John 5:28, 29 tell us “do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. Also at Acts 24:15 we are told that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” I hope you are comforted by Bible promises (John 17:3).
