I always loved to go to the brakes and visit this dear family. Alvin was the adventurous one, always wanting to have a better car that went faster. Later on he got into airplanes and I loved going up in the plane with him. It’s hard to remember when he and Gloria weren’t together as they got married when I was in high school. They spent many years serving the Lord in Nigeria, and I loved to hear all the stories. His mom got to go visit, but his dad never felt like he needed to leave the place. It was a joy for Josh and I to see Alvin and Gloria at Dave and Helen‘s last summer and give him one last hug. I look forward to seeing you in heaven, dear cousin Sharon

I was so sorry to hear that Alvin has passed but know he has gone to be with the Lord. I wish I could come to the service but I have a doctors appointment. Please accept my deepest condolences. I knew Alvin all my life as we grew up in the same area and our folks were friends. I remember going with Cynthia and her older kids to Gloria and Alvin’s wedding.
