Amanda Lillian Bighorn

Prayer Service: 7 p.m. Monday, November 1, 2010 at the Makaicu Presbyterian Church in Riverside, MT.

Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2010 also at the Makaicu Presbyterian Church in Riverside, MT.

Interment: will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Riverside, MT.

Amanda L. (Little Head) Bighorn, age 73, of Brockton, MT passed away October 28, 2010 in Brockton.

Amanda was born on October 28, 1937 in Poplar, MT, daughter of Benjamin Little Head and Evangeline Bessie Cloud. She attended and graduated from Brockton High School. She was a life long ruling elder of Makaicu Presbyterian Church in Riverside, MT. Throughout her life she was employed at the Public Health Service, Poplar School, and Brockton School.Amanda enjoyed watching and following her children and grandchildren participate in all sports activities, and visiting with all her friends at Tribal Express.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Evangeline Little Head; grandparents, Moses and Rebecca Cloud, Little Head and Coming Out; brother, Arnold Little Head; sisters, Romaine Firemoon Little Head, Ginger Little Head, Doremis Bighorn, and Arlene Ferguson.

Amanda is survived by her husband, Leonard H. Crow Belt of Brockton; sons, Leonard L. (Diana) Bighorn of Poplar, Loren L. (Joanna) Bighorn of Riverside, Arnie R. (Judy) Bighorn of Poplar, Joe Riley of Glen Ellen, IL, and Darrell Red Eagle of Poplar; daughters, Vonda F. Bighorn of Riverside, Lesley Brien of Riverside and Julie Sears of Wolf Point, MT; sister, Delphine Lemay of Riverside; sister in law, Elaine Cantrell of Wolf Point; brother, Shep Ferguson of Poplar; 11 grandchildren, Megan Black, Leslee Bighorn, Loren Bighorn Jr., Benjamin Bighorn Sr., Angel Bighorn, Mandy Jo Bighorn, Maria Wind, Kole Headdress, Tiona Brown, Zane Brown, and a special granddaughter; 8 great grandchildren, Print & Seth Feather Earring, Joseph & Jaelynn Black, Madison Rose and Nahshon James Bighorn, Benjamin Bighorn Jr. and Keoni Leigh Bighorn; and special families, The Looking Elks and Crawfords in South Dakota, she enjoyed visiting with them at the annual mission meeting.

A prayer service will be held 7 p.m. Monday, November 1, at the Makaicu Presbyterian Church in Riverside. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 2, also at the Makaicu Presbyterian Church in Riverside. Interment will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Riverside.Condolences may be sent to the family atwww.stevensonandsons.com. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
