Funeral Service: Friday, October 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Broadus.

Graveside Service: Valley View Cemetery in Broadus

Early on Tuesday morning, October 6, 2009, Amanda JoLynn (Traub) Castaneda, age 34, went to be with her Lord and Savior after a long battle with cancer at the Sheridan County Memorial Hospital.

Amanda JoLynn was born on April 18, 1975 in Miles City, Montana to Lee and Bobby (Preston) Traub. She lived in Belle Creek, MT from birth through 6th grade, then on Bay Horse and later Biddle, MT. Her daughter, Mariah Deal Traub was born on February 21, 1993. Amanda graduated from Powder River County High School in May of 1993. She put herself through college with a degree in accounting. Amanda was married in January of 1998 and from this union was born Adrian Javier Castaneda, August 15, 1998 and Isaiah Matheu Castaneda, November 14, 2006. Isaiah was born during her battle with cancer, Isaiah Matheu means saved by God and God's gift. Amanda's reason and will to live were Mariah, Adrian and Isaiah, they made their home in Sheridan, WY.

She loved God, her children, her family, her friends and animals. She cherished family holidays and spending time with her brothers, her parents and her nieces and nephews.

Amanda is survived by her three children, two brothers, Brendon (Jeannie) Traub of Broadus, MT, and Dallas Traub of Watford City, ND, her parents, Lee and Bobby Traub of Sheridan, WY, her Grandma Georgia Traub of Broadus, MT, her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Broadus. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Broadus. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Valley View Cemetery in Broadus.
