Amelia Marie Eder Summers was born February 3, 1928 in Poplar, MT. She passed quietly into Gods arms on July 12, 2004, in Billings at the home of her daughter with family at her side.
She Married James D. Summers on January 10, 1947 and together they raised six sons and one daughter. As a young girl she was a gymnast who could almost turn herself inside out! Amelia was a wonderful wife and mother. She loved cooking, sewing and gardening. Among many other talents, she made beautiful handmade crafts and the best homemade pies in the world. Her piecrust would melt in your mouth. She often baked at least two dozen pies for every holiday. We were very proud of her many accomplishments.
Amelia is survived by four sons and their families: Rick (Mark and Michelle) of Poplar, Randy (Kelly, Gerron, Gerris and James) of Poplar, Stormy (Ardene, Morgan and Eric) of Green Bay, WI, and Tracy (Ron) of Cathedral City, Ca and one daughter, Franci (Dave, Jared and Travis) Cellan of Billings, MT. She is also survived by one sister, Marcella (Jimmie) Jone's of Billings, MT, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and special friends, George, Joe, and the McClammys.
Waiting for her in heaven are her parents, Mark and Fannie Eder, brothers, Buster and Joe, husband, James D., sons, James F and Mac, her favorite nephew, Bobby, and her grandson, J.T.
Rest in Gods arms now Mom, we will always love you.
