In Memory Of

Anna Lloyd

Visitation: Wednesday, April 1, 2009 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth

Funeral Service: Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth . A luncheon will follow in the reception room at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth.

Burial: will follow in the Rosebud Cemetery in Rosebud MT

Anna Lloyd July 20, 1921 March 29, 2009Mother was born in Rosebud, MT on July 20, 1921. Our grandparents were George and Mayme Schafer. Mother resided in Rosebud all her life except for the last ten years she spent in the nursing home. Mom passed away on March 29, 2009.

Mom graduated from Rosebud High School in May of 1939 and married Lee Lloyd that same month. Mother was a member of many civic groups in Rosebud over the years. She was a member of the Homemakers Club, Guild Society, PTA and Rebekah Lodge in Rosebud and a member of pink ladies in Forsyth as well as VFW Auxilary and Degree of Honor Lodge in Miles City and Forsyth. She was a long time 4-H leader and youth sponsor for Degree of Honor and was involved in starting Senior Citizens in Rosebud.

Mom worked several years at Rosebud Mercantile and cooked at the school in Rosebud. She also worked in the kitchen at Rosebud Health Care Center and also as the activities director.

She was preceded in death by Grandpa and Grandma and Dad; two sons Charles and John and daughter Linda. She was also preceded in death by Uncle John, Aunt Verna and a grandson and a great-grandson.

Mom is survived by her brother Walter Schafer; son Walt and his wife Fran of North Dakota and their children Keith, Marie, Kimberly, Linda, Sally and their foster son Keith; daughter Donna and her son Larry; daughter-in-law Georgia and her family Kebi, Gary, Margo, Kelley, Daniel and Kayla; son-in-law John Conrad and his sons Gordon and Ben. Also surviving are twenty seven great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Mom lived a full and happy life.
