Anna Marie Huber, age 90, of Fallon passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at
the Prairie County Health Center in Terry.

Anna was born on January 15, 1918 in Zap, North Dakota, the daughter of Michael and Christine (Ale) Netzer. She attended schools in Zap until at the age of nine, she moved with her family to the Fallon, Montana area. Anna and Jacob Huber were united in marriage on May 22, 1943 in Glendive, Montana. They farmed in the Fallon area for several years before moving into town where Anna began working at the Farmers Union. Jacob passed away in 1985 and Anna continued to live in Fallon until she moved into the Prairie County Health Center in 2006.

Annas favorite pastime was working in her garden and taking care of the church grounds in Fallon for many years. She was very devoted to her church and taught Sunday school to the pre-school and kindergarteners for over forty years and made many quilts with the ladies of the church. Never having a drivers license, Anna walked everywhere she went. She loved being around children and especially her family and grandchildren.

Anna is survived by three sons: Gary (Carolyn) Huber of Terry, MT; Eddie (Beatrice) Huber of Livingston, MT; and Jackie (Robyn) Huber of Fallon, MT; six grandchildren: Teresa Huber, Greg, Nolan, Brad, Nathan and Zackary Huber, a half sister, Bertha Pisk of Fallon, MT, a step sister, Frieda of Lavina, MT and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a grandson, Jay Huber, three brothers: Ludwig, Martin, and Ernie; two step brothers: Irvin and Hubert; and two sisters: her twin Hertha Weishaar and Christine Weishaar.

Should friend desire, memorials may be made to the Hope American Lutheran Church in Fallon or to the charity of one's choice.
