Anna Nava

Vigil: Sunday, July 23 at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point at 5 p.m.

Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Monday, July 24 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wolf Point

Interment: following the service at the Neutgens Family Cemetery, Wolf Point

Anna Marie Mail Nava, 48 passed away on July 24, 2006 at her home in Ladsen, SC.

Anna was born September 30, 1957 in Poplar, MT. Anna was raised in Wolf Point by her mother and step father Arlo and Jody (Lambert) Neutgens. She attended grade, junior and high school in Wolf Point. She attended the Southwest Indian Poly-Tech Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Haskell Indian Junior College and Kansas University in Lawrence, Kansas, and Charleston South University in Charleston, South Carolina. While attending Haskell in Lawrence, Kansas she met her constant companion, Jesus M. Nava. Anna and Jesus were married August 11, 1977 in Wolf Point. They returned to Kansas to further their education, they then returned to Montana and Jesus worked on the oil field for a while. Anna worked in the Seismograph, also helping on the ranch and at Arlos Bar for a while until they decided to go to Venezuela, South America, where Jesus was from. While there, she attained one of her dreams of visiting the Inca ruins of Macho Peacho in the Andes Mountains. She and Jesus lived in Venezuela for 10 years before returning to the United States in 1993, after which they both drove truck until a year or so ago as Jesus health slowed him down. She went on to further her education at the Charleston South University in Charleston, SC.

Anna is survived by her husband of 29 years, Jesus of Ladsen, SC., mother; Josephine Neutgens of Wolf Point, in-laws; Nicolas & Claudia Nava of Bachaquero, Zulia, Venezuela, South America, brothers; John (Terri) Neutgens, Joesph Neutgens both of Wolf Point, Paul (Laurie) Neutgens of Billings, MT., Greg Neutgens of Bozeman, MT., sisters; Judy (Ackie) Kuntz and Lisa (George) Grubbs of Wolf Point, Arla (Lee) Neutgens of Ladsen, SC., Renee (Dan) Stapleton of Billings, MT., uncles; Sonny (Bobbi) Lambert of California, Gary Farnsworth and Gordon Mail of Poplar, John Weeks, Wayne (Debbie) Weeks and Wendell Mail of Wolf Point, David Weeks of Wisconsin and Thomas Weeks of Arizona, aunts; Dot (Bob) Balbinot, Jackie Weeks, Rita Weeks, Martha Neutgens of Wolf Point, Pat Neutgens of Great Falls and Marilyn Sandoval of Poplar and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins throughout the World.

Anna is preceded in death by her Maternal grandparents; Joseph Lambert and Lillian Delong Lambert Weeks, Paternal grandparents; Gordan and Evelyn (Burshia) Mail, Father; John G. Mail, Stepfather; Arlo L. Neutgens, Uncles; Robert Weeks, William Willie Weeks, James Neutgens, Richard Neutgens and Gary Mail, aunt; Betty Boyd.
