It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mom and Grandmother,
Annalou Maasch on July 28th, 2024, of natural causes at the age of 85.
Mom was born in Hysham Montana. She was the 1st daughter of John and Barbara Keyes.
She is survived by two brothers Craig Keyes and Bob Mayor along with her sister Sharon Timar.
Mom married Alvin L. Maasch on a spring Friday in 1955. They later settled in Miles City
Where they raised 5 strong independent children, Belinda Cook-Williams, Roxane Sturdevant, Brian Maasch, DeEtta Walker, and Gene Maasch. Mom had 5 Grandchildren,
Alvin Sturdevant, Kirk Sturdevant, Berick Cook, Geno Walter Maasch, and Jason Maasch as well as numerous Great Grandchildren.
Mom was an outdoor enthusiast who loved exploring and bringing rocks home. When not exploring, mom helped her children with Cub and Girl Scouts, dancing, and twirling. Mom and dad enjoyed supporting the local Eagles Club, Square Dancing, and traveling whenever they could.
We will dearly miss mom’s carefree attitude and her love for the outdoors and animals.
She always put a smile on my dad’s face and a twinkle in his eye. Mom, dad’s waiting for you at the Big Dipper.
