Anne Schaefer

Vigil Service: Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home

Funeral Mass: Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church

Interment: Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. in the family lot in the Tuttle Cemetery in Rhame, North Dakota

AnneMagdlyn Schaefer, age 63, of Miles City passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2006 at the Deaconess Hospital in Billings.

Anne was born in Seattle, Washington on April 29, 1942, the daughter of Kenneth and C. Juanita (Cummings) McMullen. She attended Christ the King grade school and graduated from Blanchet High School in Seattle. Following her schooling, she married Leo Schaefer on June 10, 1961, in Seattle. They made their home in the Long Beach area while Leo was in the service. They then moved to Gig Harbor until 2002 when they retired and moved to Miles City where they have remained since. Anne was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miles City and over the years she taught religious education class.

Anne is survived by her husband, Leo Schaefer of Miles City, MT; three daughters: Kateri (Albert) Reeves of Tacoma, WA; Nichole (Randy) Snow of Gig Harbor, WA; and Megan (Joel) Goodman of Gig Harbor, WA; eight sons: Paul (Charity) of Tacoma, WA; Jerome (Donna) of Miles City, MT; Jacob of Gig Harbor, WA; Rawn (April) of Gig Harbor, WA; Dominic (Danielle) of Key Center, WA; Kenneth (Georgie) of Olympia, WA; Gregory (Taylor) of Tacoma, WA; and Thomas (Heather) of Gig Harbor, WA; a daughter-in-law, Karin Schaefer of Gig Harbor, WA; a brother, Ralph McMullen of Richland, WA; two sisters: Gay Mackenzie of Bainbridge Island, WA; and Nicki Johnston of Camino Island, WA; forty eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Leo Jr.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
