In Memory Of

Annette Colvin, age 61, of Miles City.

May 15, 1959 – July 29, 2020

Annette Marie Colvin, age 61, passed away on July 29th, 2020 due to natural causes. She was born to Albert and Joyce Lahn, the fourth of eight siblings on May 15, 1959 in Great Falls, MT.

She grew up in Miles City attending school and graduated in 1977 from Custer County High School. Later she attended Miles City Community College, during this time she met and married Currie Colvin. From this union came three children, Krissy, David and Bailie. Over the years she played softball, darts, and enjoyed being on several bowling leagues. She liked traveling, being outdoors, and loved fishing. Her grandchildren, Cadence and Brooks, whom she cherished, were often by her side. Annette started out working at Miles City Green House and later at Sandy’s Creative Corner in which she had an artistic talent in arranging beautiful floral arrangements. She worked for Gary Oddy doing home repairs and later worked at Walmart at the time of her death. Annette was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, always thinking of others and giving gifts. She will be missed dearly.

Annette is survived by her children Krissy(Spencer) Anderson, David(Loraine) Colvin, and Bailie(Slade) Colvin. Grandchildren Cadence and Brooks Anderson, former husband and lifelong friend Currie Colvin, sisters Shelley(David) Barick and their sons Kale and Riley; Sandy Phalen and her children Shelby and Shilo, Catherine(Randy) Daisy and her children Joy, John and Amy. Brothers Burt Lahn and his children Shannon and Brandon; Mark Lahn and his children Katrina, Kinsey, and Kelly. Special friend Sally Phalen

She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Joyce Lahn, sister Lura(Mosey), brother Lyle, and brothers-in-law Paul Grenz and Danny Phalen, mother-in-law Dorie Lou Colvin, son Milo Colvin, and niece Catlin Smith.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com.

    To Annette’s children, family and Currey. I was very sad to hear of Annette’s passing. We were neighborhood friends growing up in Miles City. For the past several years she and I would have short visits, and would say “we must get together”, but sadly I regret that we didn’t get that done. Annette had a lovely heart. I will miss seeing her.

    I’m very sorry to hear about this! The Colvin kids all grew up across the street from my family and Krissy is good friends with my sister. Annette was a great neighbor. I feel terrible.     I am so very sorry to hear about Annette. Not only a classmate, but a friend with an infectious smile. Had quite a few conversations about life and family.     So sorry to hear of Annette’s passing. It was always a pleasure to work with her, she was funny and easy to get along with. Makes me want to go back to that time she wanted me to buy jewelry because it was just put on clearance! She always thought of others and she will be missed.

    Annettes family, sending hugs and prayers your way, as you go on without your Mom and sister. We had many visits over the years while she was working. From high school up till this day she was a great friend and always would have a smile and put a smile on my face. She was so caring with a good heart….taken way too early in life….RIP Annette you’re surely going to be missed by many!

    I did not know Annette, but my son did. He is autistic, and she was always so kind to him. Whenever we went to Walmart, she was the first person he looked for. She will be so missed by him. Our condolences to her family.
