Funeral Service: A Funeral Mass was held Friday, May 18, 2007 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Poplar with Fr. Steve Zabroki as Celebrant.
Interment: Poplar City Cemetery.
Annette Georgianne Netter Linthicum, age 23 of Poplar, Montana died May 13, 2007 at a residence in Poplar.
Annette was born in Poplar on June 11, 1983 to Clinton Linthicum, Sr. and Veronica (Old Horn) Linthicum. From the very beginning she showed her bubbly loving personality. Annette grew up and attended school in Poplar. During her school years she acted in plays and was active in sports and music. She was working at the American Legion Club in Poplar at the time of her death. Her lifetime dream was to some day be a model/actress/singer. Annette loved her family and her friends. Her dad and she had a special relationship that helped them through many obstacles in life. She loved to go shopping with her mom and sister, Krystle. She was proud of her brother, Clint, and thought that he was the best athlete in the world. She loved animals, especially dogs. Her dogs, Jake and Hazel, were like part of her family. Her greatest joy in life was doing things with her family and friends. She loved taking care of her younger cousins and loved to volunteer to baby-sit. She was a warm, loving person who cared and was kind and sincere to all.
Her Crow family members are of the Whistling Water Clan. Many of her ancestors were members of the Sacred Tobacco Society. Annette was in the process of getting her Indian name that would have been given by one of the Elders of the Crow Family. Annette left this world to begin her new life on May 13, 2007. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Annette is preceded in death by her Grandmother Irene Linthicum and Great-grandfather George Thompson, and cousins Landon Park and Chelsey Marchwick.
Annette is survived by her parents, Clinton Linthicum, Sr. of Poplar and Veronica St. Germaine of Great Falls, Montana; step-dad, Art St. Germaine who is stationed at Malmstrom AFB after just returning from duty in Iraq; sister, Krystle of Great Falls, and brother, Clinton Jr. of Poplar; paternal grandfather, William Donald Linthicum of Poplar; maternal grandparents, Claudia Thompson of Poplar and Henry Sarge Old Horn of Crow Agency; Godmother, Linda (Old Horn) Purdy of San Diego, California and Godfather, Ron Shanks of Brockton, Montana. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 17, 2007 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. followed with a Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes in Poplar. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, May 18 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes in Poplar. Interment will be at the Poplar City Cemetery
