Arlana Rose Gray departed this life March 23, 2021 in care of University of Utah Hospital. Arlana was born on May 14, 1979 to Arlene Gray.
Arlana went through all her school years at St. Labre, graduating in May 1997. Within her school years she participated in basketball, volleyball, track and cross country. Cross Country was her favorite. During her senior year, Arlana along with other CC teammates were selected to run in the Boston Marathon.
Arlana was such a helpful, generous caring person. Arlana was a very dependable, caring and hard worker, and because of her awesome work ethics, she was promoted manager in several of her jobs.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Teddy and Mary Gray, her mother Arlene Gray, Step Father John Whitewoman, her brother Curtis Gray, Aunts Theodora, Ivey and Rosie Gray, Uncles Leroy and Larry Gray, cousins Wade and Preston Gray.
She is survived by her two children, whom she was so proud of and loved so dearly, Mystic Rose and Shayl Lane Anderson, and Norman Craig Anderson her childrens father, her brothers, Marcus, Shiloh, Austin Whitewoman and Dion Gray. Aunts, LaDonna (Stanley) Eagle, Nellie (Les) Hogan and Mary Ann Gray. Uncles, Leland, Leonard, Dorian and Royce Gray. Numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and close friends. Would also like to mention two of her dearest friends Troy and Teresa Wilson, who were always there for her. And a very heartfelt thank you to her brother cousin Michael John Gray and sister cousin Lynette Gray, for the love and care you showed Arlana, being by her side, so she wouldn’t be alone.
The family would also like to give a special thank you to the Dr. Fleming burn team at the University of Utah Hospital.
