Arsenio Dean Chambliss Sr, 35 of Lame Deer, MT passed away on June 29, 2025. Arsenio was born on December 20, 1989 to Pamelyn Wilson and Robert Chambliss in Billings, Montana.
Arsenio attended elementary school in Billings, MT and attended Anaconda Junior/Senior High School in Anaconda, MT. Arsenio participated in football in his high school years. Arsenio’s favorite hobbies were taking road trips with his family, going on adventures, camping, hiking in the great outdoors, listening to his favorite music, hanging out with his cousins, especially Clay and Tyler Doney. He enjoyed going up the creek to the Spang Ranch to hang out and ride horses. He liked watching NFL football and his favorite team was the Arizona Cardinals, he loved going to concerts and race car derbies. Gardening brought him a special kind of peace, it was his way of connecting with nature and creating beauty right at home.
He especially loved traveling and some of his favorite memories were made on the road with his mother, Pammy. He enjoyed visiting Niagara Falls, the Eternal Flame, and he was always in awe of the fireworks display in Seattle Washington, sight-seeing on the Oregon coast and cruising down Colfax St. in Denver Colorado. Those moments filled him with wonder, and he cherished the time spent exploring the world with the people he loved and always ran into someone he met along his travels.
During his life, he was a wildland fire fighter for the BIA Forestry, served as a First Responder, provided Tribal Security, also worked as a Child Care Provider, caring for his nieces and nephew. He worked at various bars in Montana as a bartender where he was known for his friendly demeanor, good conversation and warm presence.
Arsenio had one son born on May 17, 2013, Arsenio Dean Chambliss Jr, whom he loved dearly, and cherished every moment they spent together from the day he was born. He was his biggest fan in all his sporting events he participated in, which was baseball, basketball and soccer. They always went everywhere together. He loved watching his son perform in school plays and participate in various activities.
Arsenio was the oldest of three siblings, a role he took seriously with a strong sense of responsibility and love for his family.
Arsenio is preceded in death by his grandparents Perry and Jennie LittleCoyote, grandfather James Wilson, Uncle Larry Dean Wilson, paternal grandparents Jimmy Chambliss and Laretha Logan, aunt, Myra Chambliss, cousin Jarietta Stewart.
Arsenio is survived by his son, Arsenio Jr, mother Pamelyn Wilson, father Robert Chambliss, sister, Watawna Chambliss, brother, Terence Wilson, nephew, Raiden Redwing, nieces, Sicily and Sofia Fisher, aunts, Rosella “Tweety” Wilson, Dr. Dixie Wilson, Janice Doney, Cynthia Harper, Deborah Johnson, Kathrine Johnson, uncles, James “Prunie” Wilson, and Dr. Timothy Wilson, Jimmie Chambliss, Barry Chambliss, Michael Logan, step brother Nigel Stewart, Calrissian Chambliss, and Jeffrey Brown, cousins, Gordon and Zale Small, Misty Gittings, Nicole and Corby Wilson, Monica Biglefthand, CJ Stewart, Clay, Tyler and Madison Doney, special friends and cousins: Dustin Wiseman, Lisa and Jamie Spang, and Rose Harris.
The family would like to thank Bend Oregon Police, Fire Fighters and EMT’s for their quick response and medical attention. Also, special thanks to the ER staff at St. Charles hospital in Bend, Oregon.
Wake services will be on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Lame Deer. Graveside Funeral Services will be on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spang Family Cemetery, south of Lame Deer.
