Audrey Marie Snodgrass was born to Albert and Alice Snodgrass on Nov. 19, 1956. She lost her short battle with cancer on Oct. 31, 2017.
Audrey attended Ashland Public School and St. Labre Catholic School in Ashland, where she graduated as salutatorian in 1975. Upon graduation, she joined the army. Audrey was stationed at Schoefield Barracks in Hawaii. While there, she met and married Michael Bowden. After her honorable discharge, they lived at several bases in the U.S. and in Germany. They were later divorced.
Audrey worked at St. Labre Catholic Mission for many years and at the time of her death.
She met and married John Wheeler. From this union came the pride of her life, son Shane Albert Snodgrass Wheeler. Audrey and John later divorced.
She later married and divorced Billy Seever.
Audrey was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and several aunts and uncles.
She is survived by son Shane, brother Byron Snodgrass, stepfather Frank (Jean) Huller, stepbrothers Mark (Teresa) Huller, and Greg (Laura) Huller, stepsister Cheryl (Mark) Byther, and stepchildren John and Mike Wheeler, and Jolene Lilly. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cremation has taken place. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12, at St. Labre Mission in Ashland. A reception will follow.
