Funeral Service: Friday, December 19, 2008 at 11:00am at Faith Lutheran Church in Great Falls, Montana

Burial: will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Great Falls, Montana

Audrey Lenore Vallie, age 78, passed away peacefully in her sleep December 11, 2008, in her Everett, WA assisted living home from natural causes.

Audrey was born October 7, 1930 to Thomas and Agnes Brenden in Hendrum, Minnesota. She was baptized into the Christian Faith on December 14th, 1930. She was raised with her brother and two sisters in Scobey MT, where she graduated from Scobey High School in 1948.She then attended college in Havre, where she got an Associates Degree in Teaching. While at Northern Montana College, she met her husband Floyd William Vallie. They were married on July 19th, 1951. During this time, Audrey taught school in Flaxville, MT and in Wisconsin. Eventually, Audrey and Floyd moved to Great Falls where they raised their two children and lived for 35 years.

Audrey enjoyed camping and boating on the Missouri River with Floyd and their children. She liked to take the kids to Scobey in the summer to meet up and visit with family. Audrey loved Christmas and celebrations with family and friends. Floyd died in a motorcycle accident in August of 1998. In 2000, Audrey moved to Lake Stevens, WA to be near her daughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Agnes Brenden and by her
husband Floyd.

Audrey is survived by her children, John Vallie of Forsyth, MT and Jennifer Barrile of Lake Stevens, WA; her sisters, Eileen Burgett of Scobey, MT and Ilo (Don) Sorte of Great Falls, MT; her brother, Thomas Jr. (Ana) of Scobey, MT and numerous nieces, grand nieces and grand nephews.

All are invited to Audreys Funeral Service on Friday December 19th, 2008 at 11:00am at Faith Lutheran Church where the family worshipped while living in Great Falls. Faith Lutheran is located at 3125 5th Ave. S. in Great Falls, MT. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Great Falls, MT.A Visitation with Family Receiving Friends will be held on Thursday, December 18th, 2008 from 11:00am to 6:00pm at Faith Lutheran Church in Great Falls, MT
