Barbara Ann Hetzer, age 70, of Billings, MT passed away at her home in Billings on March 3, 2005.
Barbara went home on March 3, 2005 to her Abba Father. There is great rejoicing at her arrival of such a loving and precious servant in heaven. She left after a courageous battle leaving her legacy of never giving up and trusting Jesus to the end. She finished her work on this earth in her own home.
Barbara was the daughter of John and Agnes Pierce. She was born May 28th, 1934 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She grew up in Boulder, Colorado where she met and married her loving husband Jim Hetzer.
She is survived by her husband Jim and all of her 6 children: Loretta (Terry) Kennedy of Denver CO. Greg Hetzer of Douglas WY. Mark Hetzer of Billings MT. Carl (Toni) Hetzer of Baltimore MD. Teresa (Ernie) Bighorn of Phoenix, AZ. Stephanie (Rich) Chavez of Denver CO. She has 21 grandchildren and her 1st great grandchild on the way. She also has a brother John W. Pierce of Longmont CO. She lived her life loving and being a mother to her children and many others. Barb and Jim lived in cities coast to coast. Most recently they lived 20 years in Miles City and in Billings for 12 years.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Faith Chapel in Billings, MT. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at the Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in Littleton, CO with burial to follow in Boulder, CO. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City is in charge of the Arrangements.
