Barbara Elizabeth “Bobbie” Kuckler passed away on June 26, 2019 at the Rosebud Healthcare Center in Forsyth. She was born January 10, 1927, in Howard, MT, and grew up in Forsyth. Bobbie had four brothers (Harry, Arlo, Dan, and Andy); four sisters (Georgia, Millie, Dorothy, and Margie). She married Bill Brown in Arizona and they moved to Alabama. Later when she came back to Forsyth, she married Wayne Strong. Several years later she married Jim Kuckler.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents Barbara and Andy Schulenberg, three brothers (Harry, Arlo and Dan), three sisters (Georgia, Millie and Margie); two daughters-in-law Toni Strong and Brooke Strong, and grandson Cody Jackson.
She is survived by her husband Jim, her children Barbara Ann of Kalispell, Scooter “Bill” of Forsyth, Candy Tait (Howard), of Spokane, WA., Paula Jackson (Tony) of Dawson Springs, KY, Mark Strong (Kelly) of Goodyear, AZ, Tami Kennedy (Dan) of Grand Junction, CO and Charlie Strong of Kalispell, MT; one sister Dorothy Mender of Forsyth, and a brother Andy (Charlys) of Forsyth; also 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, as well as great-great-grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, nephews. Bobbie is also survived by many good friends in Forsyth.
Bobbie was always a hard worker at home, on the farm, and several jobs, but whenever time allowed it, she found fun things to do. She said of herself that she was not shy, but outgoing, noisy and always found something to smile about. She loved the river, travelling, gardening, flowers, spring and a good game of cards, to name a few. Funeral arrangements are being made by Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth and the service will be held at the Lutheran Church in Forsyth at 11:00 A.M. on July 2, 2019. Burial will follow at the Forsyth Cemetery.
