Barry Lee Wood, age 51, born October 19th, 1971, passed away at the Friendship Villa Group Home in Miles City, MT on the afternoon of October 23, 2022, after a 17 year battle with Parkinson’s. Barry was born in Miles City, MT to Garry and Sharon Wood, the 5th born child of 6.
Barry never graduated high school, as he said, “I walked in the front doors and right out the back doors and never went back.” He learned he had a love for anything car or truck related, especially derby cars. If you ever needed to find him, you just had to go to one of his brothers’ garages and there he was, covered in grease, laughing, and having a good time. You could also find him out fishing with his family and friends. He was an avid Green Bay Packers Fan and was always sporting their attire. He was also a big die cast car enthusiast and always had quite the collection. When he moved into the Friendship Villa, he had to downsize his collection, but his room was still covered in those collectibles.
Barry was preceded in death by his father Garry.
Barry is survived by his mother Sharon; all his siblings Donny, Shelley, Kevin, Mike, and Justin “Boone”; his four children Nevada, Joseph (Cassidy), Stephanie and Sam (Lilly); his seven grandchildren Mason, Natalee, Carlye, Dalton, Bethany, Addison and his newest Emberlee.
Barry had many cousins and friends. He will be so missed by us all. We rejoice in the fact he is no longer suffering the terrible effects of Parkinson’s Disease and is now driving around in his lifted Chevy and smashing up derby cars with a big smile on his face.
We love you Dad, Brother, Grandfather, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend.
Rest In Peace. (With a little grease)

Barry…..you and I shared some great times (and some not so great times) but through it all we came out on the other side as friends, and that is something I am truly grateful for.
