Roberta “Becky” Batey Zimmerman tragically passed away on June 6, 2012.
Becky was born March 12, 1955 to Robert and Dorie Batey in Miles City, MT. Becky was raised up Rosebud Creek with tons of family and friends. Becky graduated at Rosebud H.S. as a cheerleader, track, athlete and prom queen. On December 21, 1974 she embraced her first day as a mother to a beautiful baby girl Shannon Lee.
In 1980 she met her soul mate Mark Zimmerman. They soon married on April 2, 1982. On December 12, 1982 they introduced the birth of another daughter Kasey and very soon after on January 4, 1984 their son Levi was born.
She was an amazing mother who never missed a school activity. Becky truly enjoyed spending time with her husband, usually riding their Harley. She loved to cook for her family, especially homemade buns. She also enjoyed playing cribbage, reading, watching Griz football and taking trips with her cousin Cindy.
Becky truly loved and cherished her 8 grandkids and all their accomplishments from Darrius scoring 26 on his ACT’s, Karsyn’s tee ball, Anissa’s cheering, Jordan’s basketball, Drake’s humor, Caiden’s ability to read and write at an early age, Walker’s complete goofiness, and Brooklynn’s strong willed personality. She will be truly missed by all of her friends and family.
Becky was proceeded in death by her parents Robert and Dorie Batey, and uncles Donny Neidge and Mark Neidge.
Becky is survived by her husband Mark Zimmerman, her brother Randy, her children Shannon Loutensock Jones (Chris), Kasey Zimmerman Cookman (John), Levi Zimmerman (Alex Perezchica), many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
