In Memory Of

Benedict Shoulderblade, age 40, of Lame Deer

December 22, 1980 – January 22, 2021

Benedict Daniel Shoulderblade, age 40 passed away in the early morning hours of January 22, 2021. Our beloved brother, uncle and cousin made his journey through the Milky Way to his relatives and touched the hand of God.

Benedict was born on December 22, 1980 to Mary Ann Whitewolf Sierra and Timothy Shoulderblade Sr. at Crow Agency.

Ben, as everyone called him was a very adventurous child, he had a smile that would light up any person who came he came in contact with. He was always playing with his Tonka Truck, filling it with dirt and rocks, or out playing with his four-legged friends his favorite, dogs. He was always happy and content as he knows he had a family that loved and cared for him.

Ben and his sister, Quinndalyn along with his older brothers, Tulane, Frankie and Adrain suffered the loss of both parents at an early age, it was at this time that Ben and his siblings went to live with relatives. Ben was adopted by his uncle, Windy Shoulderblade and his family. His new family lived  in Lame Deer for a time before moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where Windy attended Ministry School. They lived in Oklahoma for many years until the death of his uncle, Windy. It was after this time that Ben decided to venture out on his own, he lived in the Oklahoma area in several town and cities before moving on to other states, such as: Florida and Pennsylvania. He came back to Oklahoma where his brothers resided before deciding he wanted to visit the state of California and see new places. This is where Ben’s adventures came to an end and anew one began in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Ben is survived by his sisters: Quinndalyn, Contessa of Lame Deer and Shannon of Albuquerque, NM, Vanessa, Ranessa of Tulsa, OK and Aretha Hoops of Hardin, MT; brothers, Frankie and Adrian Good Bear of Oklahoma City, OK, Tim and Windy Jr. of Tulsa, OK, Ben and Tony Shoulderblade of Lame Deer, MT; adopted mother, Ella Jean Beartusk; aunts: Dolores and Marcelline Shoulderblade, Barbarta Bement, Mary Shoulderblade, Wilma Two Moons, Esther, Annette, and Shirley Brady, Serena Brady Wetherelt, Irene Flying all of Lame Deer; uncles: Don Shoulderblade, Wallace Bearchum Sr., Reginald Killsnight.
