In Memory Of

Benjamin A. Running Bear

Wake: 7 p.m. Sunday, December 19, at the Poplar Cultural Center in Poplar, MT.

Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Monday, December 20, also at the Poplar Cultural Center in Poplar, MT.

Interment: will follow at the Chelsea Cemetery.

Benjamin Ambrose Running Bear, Sr., age 43, of Poplar, MT went home to be with the Lord on December 12, 2010 at the Poplar Hospital.

Ben was born on August 18, 1967 to Andy and Delores Running Bear. Ben worked for a number of years at A&S Industries and did odd jobs with Dave Fredricks up until his death.Ben loved spending time with his family, everything he did was for his kids. Anyone who knew Ben knew his kids come first and his hunting came second. He loved to hunt every weekend you could find him out hunting with his hunting buddies looking for the Big Guy. He was an Elder at Lindsay Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Luella Montclair of Poplar; sons, Tanner, Benjamin Jr., and Trint Running Bear all of Poplar, Eli Running Bear of Brockton, MT, and Quentin Running Bear of Wolf Point, MT; stepson, Wyatt Montclair of Poplar; daughter, Chelsee Running Bear of Poplar; step daughter, Justice Jade Montclair of Poplar; sister, Chrissy Adams of Wolf Point; special nephew, Dale Lee Running Bear of North Dakota; cousins, Dana & Emerson Comeslast, Charlie & Dale Four Bear; aunt, Joyce Growling Thunder and family, the Gray Hawks, the Running bears, and the Boxers; Extended family, Nola Culbertson, who he took as a mother; Carla & family, Cheryl & family, and Evelyn & family, who he took as sisters.Ben is preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Delores; brother, Dale Tito Running Bear; Danial and Rena Comeslast, who he took as his grandparents; and Gene Culbertson, who he called dad.

Ben we love you and miss you dearly.

Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point has been entrusted with the arrangements.
