Bernice Bird Chief, age 61, of Lame Deer passed away March 25, 2008 as a result of a long illness. She will be missed by all her family and friends.
Bernice was the daughter of Clarence and Mildred (Eaglefeathers) Bird Chief, born on February 24, 1947 in Crow Agency MT. She grew up and attended school in Busby, MT.Bernices favorite pastimes were sewing and collecting. She was a faithful attendee of church.
In addition to her parents Bernice was preceded in death by her sisters Jennifer and Marie and her brothers Dale and Ray.She is survived by brothers Earl Bird Chief of Ashland and Alvin (Marvalene) of Billings;her sister Elsie Weasel Bear and her children Kenneth (5 children) of Muddy Cluster, Leeana (Gilbert) LaForge (5 children) of Billings, Herman Jr. of Muddy Cluster, Valoria (6 children) of Michigan, Elroy (Tiff) (3 children) of Muddy Cluster, Anna (Mike) (2 children) of Lame Deer, Nadine (Chris) (3 children) of Muddy Cluster; her sister Amelia of Billings and her children Davine (Cory) (3 children) of Muddy Cluster, Tanya Plainbull (3 children) of Billings, Victoria (2 children) of Billings, Terry of Busby and William and Mercedes of Billings; her sister Jennifers children Linn WhiteShield (3 children) of Billings, Demetria (3 children) of Lame Deer, Jeffrey, Elijah, all of Lame Deer; Tyron and Cynthia (1 child) of Billings; her sister Maries son Waylon (2 children) of Lame Deer and brother Dales children Leslie (1 child) of Washington and Nicole (1 child) of Arizona.
