Betty (Grandma) was a wonderful Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma that was the glue that brought her local family together for many holiday feasts. On those days the neighborhood population and vehicle population would grow manyfold. I’m not sure I ever saw her doing any yard work, there was always family gathered to keep her yard well groomed, she was well loved. She will definitely be a neighbor missed just down the street! To all her family keep a special memory with you and you will always have a smile on your face and in your heart!

Oh my goodness…where to start? Betty (& Curly) treated me like one of their own, from the minute we met. Rick was working for Curly in construction, we bought a lot from them and built a house next door. Betty was probably my first client, doing her hair every Saturday at my house. Lots of good times at their house, she was a really good cook too!. She was a blessing to all who knew her and she will be missed. I’m sorry we lost touch, but I thought of her often and will continue to do so. Nancy, James, and families, my heart goes out to you along with my prayers and love.

Betty is always right. That’s how I remembered which way her hair went. She would always chuckle when I would say that. Betty and I had a great time visiting about her family, her husband and just things in general. She got a kick out of my crazy stories every week. I definitely got her to laugh at several of them! I will miss our weekly chats and seeing who gets to the salon first. Thank you for trusting me with your hair, Betty.
