Betty and I go back many years – we both worked at the Ben Franklin Cafe back in the 80’s!! She taught me many things as a waitress and I enjoyed her company. She was a good person and good to many people. I will keep you in my prayers during this time.

I will miss Betty at St Vincent’s. Her volunteer service was much appreciated! Although she could never remember my name, it was always funny when she’d yell “Hey You!” I knew the next question would be if I would make her some popcorn ! Whenever I make popcorn ,Betty will be in my thoughts. Prayers for the family during this time.

Condolences for your loss, Myles and Marcia. Your mom was a wonderful, generous, kind person. Remember when she hosted a baby shower for my then, two-month-old daughter, Emily (who will turn 30 this year)? That was a wonderful weekend and I still make the macaroni and ham salad recipe from that day. And, I know how special she was to my mother.
Love to all of you,
Larisa Hammond
