Betty,
It was great having you come to visit but I can still kick your ass at jeopardy. I will miss you making a mess on my kitchen because you wanted to know how the fruit cutters worked. All in all. I will miss the times we had together. Love you lady. R.I.P.

I got to know Betty when I was visiting Charlie Redman at Ex Care. We had many visits even after Charlie was gone (when I delivered Jobie cards). Betty had a special sparkle to her personality and a delightful sense of humor. I will always be thankful I had the opportunity to know her. She will be missed. May your memories provide you with comfort. God Bless.

I spent a lot of time at Betty’s house in the 70’s with Johna and Stena. She always kept a watchful eye on our shenanigans so we didn’t get away with much! She did not hesitate to give us a few chores once in awhile to keep us grounded. I learned how to cut celery and other vegetables very small and precise because that is how she liked it for her salads. I still do that today! She had a flare for style, a nice smile and a genuine laugh. I appreciated the twinkle in her eye and her direct, no nonsense manner. She sent me a hello and note of encouragement after I moved to Missoula. It was very nice. I’m glad that I knew her. My deepest condolences.

My Grandma will always be my reason. My reason for why I am who I am and the reason I do the things the way I do them. My Mom as well, as she too was raised by my Grandma. My Grandma always made life special. She had a way of turning a negative situation into an opportunity to learn. She taught me how to be strong, and how to cope with painful things. She truly had her own way and i adopted her way and made it my own. I’m forever grateful that she chose my Mom to be her Daughter. Without that choice there would be no Annie. Thank You Grandma for choosing us.
