Betty Jane Herman Greenfield, age 75, passed away on July 11, 2017 at Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City.
Betty was born on July 29, 1941 in Hardin MT to John and Helen Herman. Later the family moved to Billings, MT.
She married Charles Greenfield in 1959. They raised 3 girls in Miles City, MT; Pamela Greenfield, Diana Greenfield Stern and Robyn Greenfield Albus. Betty and her husband Charles ran and operated C&R dry cleaners in Miles City plaza for many years. Later Betty pursued her love for flowers and ran Uptown Floral also in Miles City.
Later Betty dispatched for the Miles City fire department. She was proud to be a part of our local fire department.
Betty battled with COPD that lasted for many years but she never let it get her down or stop her determined spirit. She loved spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Custer County Cemetery. Condolences to the family may be sent by visiting www.stevensonandsons.com.
