Betty Jo Killsnight, age 45, of Lame Deer

April 27, 1977 – June 22, 2022

Betty Jo Killsnight, Vanaeho’o (Sage woman) Born Misty Dawn TwoMoons to Mary Jane Limpy and Billy TwoMoons on April 27, 1977 in Crow Agency, MT. Family later Changed her name to Betty Jo after her late aunty Betty Jo TwoMoons.
She was raised mainly in Rosebud creek by her grandparents Henry and Agnes (Littlewhiteman) Limpy. She attended primary school at Northern Cheyenne Tribal schools, Thermopolis Middle school, and St. Stephens Indian School. She later got her GED from Chief Dull knife College, and continued on to take college courses. She was very proud of herself for making the Deans List her first college semester.
Betty started off her family young, with her first son Teton Magpie. She then met her companion of many years, Bryce Killsontop Sr., with whom she had 3 sons, Ezekial, Aryas, and Bryce Jr. They later went their separate ways, but always remained friends. She had a son, Native, and daughter, Serenity, before meeting the Love of her life, Randall Killsnight Sr. They Married in January of 2011. From this union they had 5 Children; Lillian, Heavenlee, Aryanna, Legionlee, and Randall Jr. She spent many of her younger years as a homemaker and babysitter. Later in life working at the Lame Deer store and Dull Knife Café. Her best jobs in life were Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunty, and friend. She was a cheerleader in life, for anyone she met. Always greeting with a smile and loving heart. Joking and affectionately called “Momma jo,” because she never met anyone who didn’t like her. She was very dedicated to her children, family, and friends. She was also a lifetime dedicated Montana Griz and New England Patriots Fan.
Betty is preceded in death by her father Billy TwoMoons; Grandparents Henry and Agnes(littlewhiteman) Limpy, Austin and Hilda(Hart) TwoMoons Sr. Auntys: Doris, Edith, Sarah, Lillian, Litha, Wahlena Limpy; Betty Jo TwoMoons, and Hilda Moss. Uncles: Homer, James, Clifford, and Raymond Limpy; Elvis Oldbull; Austin Jr, Kenneth, and John TwoMoons. Brothers Shane and Eugene Limpy Jr. Dustin TwoMoons Sr.
She is survived by her mother MaryJane Limpy. Her loving Husband Randall Killsnight Sr. Sons: Teton Magpie; Ezekiel, Aryas, and Bryce(Keyara) Jr. Killsontop, Native Whiteman, Legionlee and Randall Killnight Jr. Daughters; Serenity TwoMoons, Lillian, Heavenlee, and Aryanna Killsnight. Three grandchildren; God daughter, Veronica TwoMoons. Brothers: Loren, Jason, Aldin TwoMoons; and Neroy Friday. George, Brian, and Austin III TwoMoons; Waylon, Robbie, and Shawn Limpy. Sisters: Michaelene(Travis)Friday, Misty(Horace III) Littlesun; Rosie(Clyde) Brady, Reanna TwoMoons, Azuri (Daniel) Texas. Leola White. Shanelle Limpy; Father-in-law Reginald Killsnight Sr. Mother-in-Law and friend Zipporah Tallbull. Brother-in-laws: Frank Tallbull; Jeremy(Trudee) and Reasco Killnight. Sister-in-laws Miranda(Steve)Hartman, Brandy, and Shaylene Killnight; Uncles George TwoMoons Sr., Eugene Limpy Sr., and Tommy(Charlotte)RockRoads, Sam Americanhorse and Leon Brady. Joe Waters. Glen Manley; Auntys Patty Ann Brady-WalksAlong, Dolly Rockroads. Priscilla Tallbull. Gloria Waters. Betty Jo Williams, Donna Gonzales, Corrine Washee, Frankie Jo Limpy, Annie Jo Limpy. Mary Stillsmoking Jackie Tang; Grandpas, Mathew (Beaver) TwoMoons and Martin Hart Sr. Geofredo “Tweety” (Jackie) Littlebird. Max Hiwalker. Harry Littlebird Sr. Steve Littlebird; Grandmother, Clarice(William) Walksalong and Margaret Shoulderblade; Special Nieces; Tamia Swank, Stefawn Tallbull, Ramiah White; Special Friends; Darci Bishop and Stella Seminole; numerous nieces and nephews; Extended families include TwoMoons, Limpy, Littlewhiteman, Manley, Blackwolfs, Limberhand, Walksalong, Spangs, Braided Hair, Medicine Top, Elkshoulder, Blackmedicine. Beaverheart / Hart, Yellowhair, Hairlessbear, Littlebird, Kings, Americanhorse, Roundstone, Ironshirt, Risingsun, Russell, and wolfname families.

    Always enjoyed laughing with you at your Uncle Jimmy’s and giving you rides to wherever you needed to go even in the middle of the night, & thank you for standing up for me when they wanted me to do something I wasn’t ready for. Special friend, kind, beautiful, will miss you, can’t believe you are on the other side but, maheo keep you, you are a good person I know that, how come though, but maheo knows. Travel well friend.
