In Loving Memory of Betty Johnson
Betty May Mardis Johnson, 82, went to be with her Lord on November 19, 2012. Betty was born on May 26, 1930 to Walter Scott and Cornelia Mardis in Forsyth Montana. Betty attended school in Forsyth and graduated from high school in 1948. After high school she attended college in Bozeman where she met and married the love of her life Robert Johnson on December 22, 1950.
After Robert and Betty were married they lived in Deer Lodge until 1973. While in Deer Lodge they built a ranch while working side by side. In 1973 Robert, Betty and son Eric moved to Forsyth where they made their life on the Anchor Island Ranch. This is where Betty took very special care of her loved ones, cows and other animals. She loved to throw rocks for Taz (her dog), watch the birds, deer, and animals in general. When Betty was not taking care of her animals she was putting her heart and soul into the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She took pride in caring for her church.
Betty is survived by son Eric (Donna) Johnson, Granddaughters Jesse Jo and Harlee Johnson and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, parents Walter and Cornelia.

Iam sorry for your loss, Betty was my hero. As she left no job undone. And loved her family and animals. Heavin is just another phase in our life.

Jesse Jo and Harlee,
I am very sorry to learn of the passing of your beloved Grandmother. May you find comfort in knowing others care, and are thinking of, and praying for you at this difficult time. May the many beautiful memories you have of her give you peace, and may you find comfort in the love and support of family and friends.
Laura Kron Monasmith says
I remember a smiling face and a kind soul from my school days. The Lord shined through her each and every day. God Bless!
